Job Description:

Oakes Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior High Math Teacher. This is a full time position serving students in grades 7 & 8, with a focus on fostering strong mathematical understanding and critical thinking skills in a supportive and engaging classroom environment. Oakes Public School is a progressive district located in southeast North Dakota, committed to educational excellence. We value innovation, relationships, and student success. 

Qualifications: North Dakota teaching license (or the ability to obtain one) in the area of Elementary Education OR Mathematics Education.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and classroom management skills, passion for working with junior high students and promoting a positive learning experience, willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development, experience in middle school/junior high math instruction, familiarity with North Dakota Content Standards for Mathematics, and knowledge of technology integration in the classroom.

Oakes Public School base salary $44,750 with experience credit. Master's Degree and continuing education credits are paid. Health insurance, dental and vision along with 10% of employee's TFFR paid.  We offer sick days and other leave days.
