Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with organizing the Track and Field program. Position assists with conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques.
Responsibilities
Assist the head coach with overall team management, including but not limited to: recruitment of student athletes, coordination of team practices, monitoring academic progress of athletes and preparing the team for competition.
Prepare student athletes mentally and physically for athletic competition.
Enhance student athletes' personal, physical and social growth and development in a culturally diverse environment.
Instructs participants in the skills and techniques of the position played in the sport. Attend meetings as required by the Director of Athletics and/or Head Coach.
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications: Knowledge of the sport is required. Previous coaching experience is preferred.
Supervision: This position is directly supervised by the Head Coach.
Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final candidate.

Salary: $54,100 to $6,012 Stipend
