Grand Forks Public School District is currently accepting applications for the position of HR Intern for the Fall 2025 semester, with an opportunity to extend into future semesters. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources within a dynamic and supportive educational environment. The HR Intern will work closely with the HR team to support various aspects of human resources functions.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain accurate records of job applicants and assist in the coordination of recruitment events.
Onboarding:
Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing materials, coordinating orientations, and assisting with paperwork.
Employee Records:
Assist in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Support data entry and updates in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Employee Relations:
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and assist in addressing basic employee inquiries.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in one of the University of North Dakota College of Business Programs.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Base Pay
$16.21 / Hour
