Job Description:

Kulm Public School District is seeking a 6th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Extra-curricular coaching opportunities are also available. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about student learning, fostering curiosity, and building strong relationships with students during this important transition year.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will teach core subjects to 6th-grade students and help support their academic, social, and emotional growth. The teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences and help students build strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.

This position offers the opportunity to teach in a supportive, small-school environment where staff know students well and innovation is encouraged.

Qualifications
North Dakota teaching license (or eligibility) with appropriate elementary or middle-level endorsement(s)
Strong knowledge of upper elementary or middle school instructional practices
Commitment to student-centered instruction and high expectations for all learners
Ability to build positive relationships with students and communicate effectively with families
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to support student success
