What You'll Do:
· Help all students develop competence and confidence simultaneously through a balance of acquiring basic skills and developing conceptual understanding.
· Observes, evaluates, reports and records students' performance
· Work with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address learning gaps using research-based curriculum.
· Present subject matter to students, using various teaching methods and technology, adjusting teaching style and method to meet student learning style.
· Have the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Provide effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Have the ability to manage classroom, coordinate, and instruct student activities.
· Believe in and support all students
· Provides direct instruction to small groups of students at the strategic level of intervention in order to supplement instruction.
· Assists in screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring assessments.
· Create individual student intervention plans
· Create schedules for Tier I, II, III Interventions for in class, small group, and individuals
· Assists in analyzing student data to determine student profile of needs, and for making instructional placement and instructional focus decisions.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting Base $51,300.00

Sick leave: 15 days (120 hours) carryover 150 days

Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a valid North Dakota Educator’s Professional Certificate.
Must have experience in MTSS Academics.
Must have experience with ND A+ Interim and Summative assessments as well as NAVVY
Must pass a background and drug test.
Must be able to relate well to students, families, staff, and community.
Ability to teach and act as a positive role model.
