Job Description:

The Wahpeton Public School District is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the Principal of Wahpeton Elementary School (Grades 1-5) beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
The Elementary School Principal provides instructional leadership and administrative oversight for Wahpeton Elementary School and is responsible for fostering a positive school culture and productive learning environment for students and staff. The principal also oversees the district's Title I program and works collaboratively with families, staff, and the community to support student success and advance the district's mission of Empowering Lifelong Learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Administration or a related field.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a North Dakota Elementary Principal Credential and teaching license.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
• Administrative and Title I experience preferred.
