High School - Stanley, North Dakota 

JOB GOAL:
The role of the substitute teacher is to instruct students and facilitate their learning in the absence of the regular teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Substitute teaching license from North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board
Interest in children and education
Desire to assist students in a learning environment
 
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans.
Creates a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
Maintains a safe and orderly environment.
Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Maintains reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility.
Communicates effectively with parents when needed.
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and times designated.

Building Principal/Assistant Principal
 
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This position constitutes an at-will employee for the Stanley Community Public School District.

Salary: $19 to $34.74 Per Hour
