Job Description:

Edgeley Public School is seeking a caring, flexible, and dependable Paraprofessional to support students. The position may be assigned to Edgeley Public School (EPS) and/or Willowbank School. The ideal candidate is patient, positive, flexible, dependable, and enjoys working with students. Assignment and daily responsibilities may vary based on student and school needs. Responsibilities may include:
Working one-on-one or in small groups with students of varying ages and abilities
Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and student activities
Providing support based on individual student needs and learning goals
Supervising students during lunch and recess
Supporting a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborating with teachers and other staff to help students be successful
Background check to be completed, 30-35 hours per week

Salary: $15.00-$18.00/hour DOE.
