Job Description:

Education:           Bachelor’s Degree

Qualifications:   

Valid ND Secondary teaching license OR

Bachelor’s degree with a major, minor, or minor equivalency (ME:24) in Business Education or Marketing Education OR

Alternative options for teacher preparation and licensure may be identified or established by the State Board for Career and Technical Education in cooperation with the Education Standards and Practices Board.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Courses to be taught include a combination of Business Education courses along with Introduction to Marketing. The instructor will also be expected to be involved with either the school's FBLA or DECA Chapter.

Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally walk and stand. The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others.  

Terms of Employment:  188 day contract

Evaluation: By the Principal at least twice each year in the first three years of service (December 15 & April 15), and at least once each year thereafter (April 15).

Primary Location -RED RIVER HIGH SCHOOL

Salary Range -$49,477.00 - $71,312.00 / Per Year
