Job Description:

8 hours/day, 12 months - may need to work nights/overtime

 

SUMMARY 

Under basic supervision, manages and maintains inventory of sports equipment.

Factors such as regular attendance at the job are not routinely listed in job descriptions, but are an essential function.  Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Manages and maintains inventory of sports equipment and supplies for sports teams and physical  education classes; distributes, collects, launders and stores team uniforms. 

Packs uniforms and equipment for team games away from MPS facilities. 

Supports the relationship between the Minot Public School District and the general public by  demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with clients, visitors, and District  staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and District information;  follows compliance rules governing child abuse; performs related duties as required or assigned. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Education, Training and Experience Guidelines 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND one year of experience working with sports programs; OR  an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 

 

Knowledge of:  

MPS policies and procedures. 

Principles of record keeping and inventory management. 

Skill in: 

Dealing tactfully and courteously with students, using patience, understanding, and caring. • Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with co-workers. • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing. 

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

A valid North Dakota State Driver’s License may be required.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT 

Work is performed in a standard school locker room environment.

Salary Range -$19.18 / Per Hour

Shift Type -Full-Time

Salary Range:
