Job Description:

Oakes Public School is seeking a Full-Time K-12 Grade Music Instructor. Applicants must be able to meet the requirements to serve in this capacity which will include extracurricular music responsibilities. OPS is an innovative school district with a steady enrollment of 500 students K-12. We employ a standards-based learning. We are looking for a collaborative team player that is willing to continually grow as an educator to provide our students with the essential skills for their success. Proper licensing for the state of North Dakota is required. This full-time position with coaching position(s) responsibilities include but not limited to:

Planning and preparation for student learning

Classroom management

Family and community outreach

Assessment of student progress and goals

Develop and maintain positive relationships with students staff and the school community

Proficient communication skills and technologies

Salary range $44,750 plus compensation for experience

Vocal Coach salary starting at $3,128 plus compensation for experience

Instrumental Coach salary starting at $3,128 plus compensation for experience
