POSITION: Turtle Mountain Community Schools Summer Baseball Coach
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: June 25th – July 23rd Maximum of 250 hours; Subject to change
LOCATION: Turtle Mountain Community High School
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must meet qualifications for the position
Applicants must attach/submit all documentation to be considered for a position.
Education: Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must have coaching experience in baseball or softball.
Must be able to work flexible hours, possibly weekends.
Personal Attributes: Punctuality, reliability, positive human relations skills, personal conduct appropriate to a positive role model for student in areas of lawfulness, behavior, moral character, and skilled in student training.
Successful applicants must have a favorable background check according to district policy.

Computer Skills
Can navigate using web browsers; can execute web searches and communicate via email. Understands basic file manipulation (open, edit, save, copy, cut, paste) and printing of documents. Can effectively utilize office-related applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Google Suite). Can navigate/effectively use peripherals (e.g., interactive whiteboard, projectors, cameras, printers, pda, etc.).
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Summer Baseball Coach(s) will coach students involved in the Summer Baseball Program.
Responsible to Athletic/Activities Director.
Responsible for scheduling games and transportation along with Atheltic/Activities Director
Responsible for transporting students to activity sites.
May be required to take defensive driving course.
Responsible for setting up practice schedules.
Responsible for supervision of children at practice and games.
Assist with setting up summer Babe Ruth Baseball schedule for students participating in the summer programs.
Maintain participant discipline at all times.
Responsible for equipment maintence and up keep.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic/Activities Director.
The Program will run based on number of participants.
