There is currently an opening for a high school school mathematics teacher. This teacher will join our part-time high school math teacher in providing opportunities for our students to grow in their mathematical thinking.

Questions some teachers ask about teaching at Bishop Ryan...

1. Do I need to be Catholic? No, about 20% of our students and 15% of our staff members are not Catholic. 
2. Is there teacher support for students who are struggling within the classroom? Yes, we have Special Education services from Minot Public Schools, a full-time special education strategist, a transition room, and instructional aides who all provide additional support for students and teachers.
3. Am I responsible for teaching Catholicism? No, students go to religion class. Other teachers are responsible for supporting and affirming Catholicism and virtue while teaching within their content area.
4. What is the class size? The average class size is about 12 students.
5. Is there retirement? Yes, we are part of a 401k and match 5%.

Beginning teacher salary for 2025-26 is $40,650.
