Job Description:

Oliver-Mercer Special Education (OMSE) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Located south of Lake Sakakawea, OMSE supports the districts of Beulah, Center-Stanton, and Hazen. 

• An ideal candidate must have a strong committment to meeting the individual needs of students with disabilities, and be an effecetive team leader, working collaboratively with other educators, support staff, administrators, and families. 
• Strategist, Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities credentials are preferred as OMSE teacher's are based out of resource rooms, meeting the needs of a variety of students. 
• Currently OMSE teachers and paras receive annual training in Safety-Care® Crisis Prevention Training.

Requirements:

• Valid North Dakota Educator's Professional License.
• Bachelor’s degree in special education or ability to obtain a special education license.
• Experience in working with individuals with disabilities.

Salary Schedule-based: Bachelor to Masters + 48
