Job Description:

Qualifications

●        Valid North Dakota teaching license and pass background check

●        Major, minor, or endorsement in Special Education required.

●        Preferred: Master’s degree in special education, early childhood education, or educational leadership.

●        Experience in early childhood education or ECSE leadership preferred.

●        Knowledge of IDEA, ECSE best practices, AAC, and assistive technology.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and supervise ECSE programming for Jamestown; ensure regulatory compliance and program quality.

●        Align Cooperative-wide programs with instructional goals and early learning standards.

●        Supervise Jamestown ECSE staff; support evaluations and scheduling.

●        Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development across the Cooperative.

●        Oversee ECSE IEPs, evaluations, re-evaluations, and transitions for Jamestown; ensure IDEA compliance.

●        Coordinate Child Find activities for the Cooperative.

●        Support early entrance to kindergarten evaluations and family communication for Jamestown.

●        Serve as primary contact for Jamestown families; build partnerships with early childhood agencies.

●        Oversee instructional and assistive technology integration Cooperative-wide, including AT/AAC management.

Contract/Benefits

●        Salary- range Min is$70,000 to Max (dependent on experience); 189 contract days

●        10 sick leave/year accumulate to 130; 3 personal days/year to accumulate to 5; 5 days/year funeral leave
